Movie Night
The Rules
1. Every week we watch a movie.
2. We take turns showing each other a movie we pick.
3. Every week you have a 2000 yen budget to pick a movie.
4. You can rent, borrow, or buy a movie.
5. Any money that is left over from your week gets carried over to next week you should show a movie.
6. You must use the cash that is set aside every week. No credit cards.
For example, I rented a movie that cost 340 yen. The 1660 in change I got goes over to the next time I show a movie. That then gives me a budget of 3660 to watch a movie. This way you can be smart with your money and save up for movies.
The idea is to keep our movie spending under control. No more buying whatever we want on Amazon or what have you. It also makes us sit down every week and have a movie date.
