Poseidon's Projects | Poseidon's Pictures | Sunsets

Pictures of sunsets and the night sky. I often look outside around sunset to see if anything interesting is happening. Sometimes I'm lucky and sometimes I'm not. Album title is the day I took the pictures.

Went out to try and get some lightning photos. Unfortunately my lens wasn't focused to infinity and all my pictures came out unfocused.

This was a beautiful evening. The sky was this mix of red, orange, and purple. Very pretty. Unfortunately my camera rang out of battery about 10 minutes into taking pictures. Was kind of a letdown but I was able to get some good pictures.

On this day the clouds were so white and fluffy. And the sky was so blue. Unfortunately all but 2 of the pictures didn't turn out so great. So this is what I have left. During the evening some clouds had some nice lightning and I got 1 really nice arc.

I tried to get home from school in time to get some pictures of the sunset, but I had to stay after school for a little bit. Very unfortunate. However the pictures I managed to get had this nice kind of grey sky to it. Then as it got darker it became a nice blue.

Nice brilliant orange. I found this spot very close to my house. For a while I was biking about 10 minutes away from my house to get pictures. Now I can get into a nice location in under 3 minutes.

The colors of the sunset on this day weren't so great, but I found a dragonfly and took some pictures experimentings with foreground and background. I think I got some neat pictures.

I managed to catch the sun setting on this day. The clouds also made for some interesting designs. I almost didn't make it in time as I parked my car, got my camera, and got on my bike almost immediately. About 5 minutes into taking pictures the sun set. Very lucky.

I really like the way the clouds on the left look. They look like some winged beast to me. I liked how it seemed there was a dark beast opposing this bright orange light.
