Hi Brayton….So glad to hear from you and what you are doing. Uncle Ed has said often have you heard from Brayton. We are glad you are now in Tokyo teaching. We are anxiously waiting to see the pictures from the area on the island where you are teaching.
The weather is changing here now…..THANK GOD! We have had a cold Spring and we have planted our tomato plants and some lettuce. Sure home they do well now.
Remember we love you and Kana and keep in touch. Okay?

I think the people are worried about the reactors because it will affect all of the people in Japan. I think their concern is warranted, but I also feel ill about all those displaced people. I’m praying for all of you. Love you and be safe. Mum

OK, now it’s getting hairy in Tokyo. Lines for food and lines for gas. Keep us posted on what is going on in Ibaraki??? How is Kozua? Were you able to teach school today? Any blackouts in Ibaraki?
