On December 16th, 2009 I applied to an ad I saw on the internet to go to Niigata and blog about my experience. On January 8th, 2010 I was emailed saying that I had been chosen as a finalist. The organizers of the trip wanted to speak to me. I spoke with them the following day and told I would be alerted to the results the next day. On January 10th, it was official. I was going to Niigata Prefecture. While I am there I will taken around the prefecture and shown the snow culture of the people in this region. I plan to take pictures and write about everywhere I go. So stay tuned to this page to read about my experience.
