Yesterday evening it snowed pretty hard. I was really surprised because it never snows in Japan. So it was fun being able to see snow again. In fact I was so excited that I busted out the camera and I hoped to get some cool pictures. Unfortunately I wasn’t really able to get that many cool pictures. But here are some.
This was taken from the balcony of our condo. I wish I had a faster lens so that I could freeze the movement of the snow. Oh well.

It was snowing so hard and looked so fun outside that I asked Kana if she wanted to take a walk. So we walked around the neighbourhood for a little bit and there was a corner that had some good light, so I took this shot. I thought it came out rather well.

Then we went over to the local temple. It had only been snowing for 2 hours and already everything was pretty much covered in snow. I was really surprised. But the temple looked really nice covered in snow, so I’m glad that Kana and I braved the cold.

Unfortunately Kana wasn’t really wearing weather appropriate clothing so she was starting to get soaked. So we high tailed it back home and went to sleep.
…never snows in japan? perhaps not in YOUR japan, but in MY japan it snowed basically every day for 4-5 months out of the year. pffft.
I stand by my statement. It never snows in Japan.
